We offer two basic courses for the beginner shooter.
What cources you take would depend on your comfort and skill level with guns.
A: If you are a new gun owner, I would recommend both the NRA Simulator and the NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course.
B: If you have some experience with firearms the NRA Basic Shooting Course would be the place to start.
The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course is the starting place for you.
If you are comfortable with your gun, then I would recommend the NC Concealed Carry Course. If you would like to sharpen your skills, or become more familiar with your gun, then start with the NRA Basic Shooting course then take the NC Concealed Carry Course.
While both courses cover some of the same material, each course is designed for it's own agenda.
The NRA Basic Shooting Course is designed towards teaching safe, proper gun control and has more range time.
The NC Concealed Carry Course covers a minimum basic gun control, but also covers laws concerning concealed carry.
If you cancel 7 days before the class starts, then we will refund your money. After 7 days NO refunds are given.
You may bring snacks and have them during the class as long as they don't disturb the class . Will we be taking breaks and a break for lunch. You will need to bring your own lunch.
If you qualify the first round shooting the course, that's great. If you have to shoot the course a second time and run out of ammo, there is not a place to purchase ammo. That means you can not pass the course.
